AbTaq DNA Polymerase

AbTaq DNA Polymerase is a hot-start Taq DNA Polymerase modified with monoclonal antibodies. The antibodies effectively inhibit the DNA polymerase activity below 55°C, preventing non-specific amplification at lower temperatures. At high temperatures, the antibodies irreversibly dissociate, allowing the polymerase to regain its activity. This hot-start feature ensures specific amplification and helps to avoid non-specific amplification at low temperatures.
