Description
PNGase F (Peptide N-Glycosidase F) is a high effective amidase derived from Elizabethkingia miricola . It cleaves asparagine-linked high mannose as well as hybrid and complex oligosaccharides from glycoproteins. The cleavage site of PNGase F is the amide bond between the N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) inside the protein and the asparagine residue, while converting the asparagine residue in the digested protein to aspartic acid. This product is expressed through recombinant expression in E.coli , and it contains a His tag. It does not contain glycerol and is commonly used for deglycosylation of antibodies and related proteins. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles during use.
