Taq DNA Polymerase

Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase derived from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus. It is obtained through recombinant expression and purification in Escherichia coli, and it has a molecular weight of 94 kDa. This enzyme exhibits 5'→3' polymerase activity and 5'→3' exonuclease activity, but lacks 3'→5' exonuclease activity.
